Great question, Neil, but we’re more focused on repurposing underused/ disused smaller airfields to enable hydrogen-powered regional aviation. Doing so will help sustain local communities in ways that large international airports don’t.
Fun fact: Chris (Principle Investigator) designed the baggage handling system for Heathrow Terminal 2, created the engineering documents for Heathrow Terminal 5, and won an international prize for Beijing’s Daxing Airport’s international arrivals corridor. We love airports here at CoFFEE, but we’re people-first.
